Dear fellow fabber operator,
I am writing my masters thesis on the RepRap/Makerbot community dynamics, contrasting it with a more closed, manufacturer-centric mode of development. This is part of a bigger research project on the nature of innovation in the 21st century in collaboration with Tilburg University, Erasmus University and M.I.T.
Your input is crucial for us to get a good impression of what the emerging phenomenon of open hardware and open design will look like.
If you fill in your e-mail address, you will be invited to the survey.
You are likely to see this message because you interact frequently with others in the community (including me). If you know of brave lone RepRapper/Makerbot'er out there, who doesn't blog is or is being too humble about it, it is very important that we can also include them in our sample! So please tell us how to reach them, too!
We will not SPAM you. You will receive an invitation e-mail for the survey and if you participate one or two follow-up e-mails at most.
If you have questions, e-mail or tweet me.
